I Swear I'm Hip

Have to get some things off my mind….

Sorry if my writing sounds choppy and terrible but it’s my first all night of the semester and I’m finding it even harder to focus now. I have just received news that a fellow classmate of mine has died from an awful accident. Her name was Lisa, and she was a very talented artist with a manipulated, and abusive boyfriend. A few days ago she attempted suicide by throwing herself off a truck going 70 miles per hour on the freeway. Since then she has laid in a hospital bed with broken legs, a broken neck and severe brain damage. I don’t pray much but I am praying for her family, friends and roommates. 

Life can be a real pain in the ass sometimes, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t worth living. The first time I met Lisa I knew she would go far with her artwork. I remember in my drawing one class she made a beautiful charcoal drawing of these swirling clouds surrounding a castle. It was so detailed, and had a hyper realism style to it. But what was even more amazing about it was the fact that she had done this all from her head.

I feel more sad for the people she left behind who loved her the most. They all want answers, and may never get them.
